WE ARE HERE
One of our students, Jonathan Camaroon, has developed love for anything mechanical. After reading Willam Kamkwamba’s book “The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind” he went home and built a mini windmill that was able to light up an LED light, from things lying around his house. He has also built a larger windmill that he uses to charge phones with. Jonathan has been at Bolera Palms School for 2 years now, and has lived in Bolera Village his whole life. He is now experimenting with motors to make toy cars move.
The next six pages is his instruction guide in Chichewa of how to make his mini windmill, he says he hopes that others can learn from it.
